Afterthoughts

As we digest the Word of God individually and as a tribe, we need to constantly be reminded of what we’re learning so we can meditate on the truth of His Word. Johannes Kepler, the famous mathematician and astronomer that discovered the true motion of the planets in orbit, simply said he was “thinking God’s thoughts after him.” He gave credit to the creator in everything and realized we are simply discovering the beauty and magnitude of what God has already spoken into existence. For, as the Lord says in Isaiah 55, “my thoughts are higher than your thoughts and my ways are higher than your ways.” As we encounter the amazing truths found in His Word together, let’s apply it to our lives, becoming “Hearers and Doers of the Word.”
