Prayer Changes Things
Prayer is life-giving and life-changing and without it we lose out on so much joy that God desires to give us. It is our direct line to the power of Christ working in our lives. John Wesley said, “God does nothing but in answer to prayer,” and we believe that prayer changes things.
We Ask Boldly
Jesus’ longest recorded message, the “Sermon on the Mount” shows us that God is far more in tune with our needs and actively waiting for us to ask him. We are reminded several times that God is the Good Father, who knows what we need. We are also encouraged by Jesus to “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you… how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:7-11 NIV)
We Pray Together
So we encourage you as well to pass along any needs you may have. Let us pray with you as a team. Our Pastoral Staff prays for the needs of our community together every Monday and also throughout the week. Sometimes we also put the prayer request out to a larger prayer team via email. Finally, we encourage you to join us Friday nights at 6:30 for a time of prayer each week. This awesome time of reflection and seeking God is always a highlight of our week and we would love for you to join us.
