In light of what we know about the children of Israel in Egypt, it’s easy for us to see where the Lord is coming from. Despite the constant miraculous intervention from the Lord, they still don’t trust him. Let’s remember to practice contentment as the Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:11-12 – “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.”
