Boundaries6/11/2017 - Ryan Young
What are boundaries in our lives? How are they supposed to function in our families and our own decision making? How are we supposed to ensure the health of our family?
In our nuclear families, our extended families and as a church family, it is so important for us to learn to celebrate milestones. Moments like graduations and anniversaries are worth celebrating because God has been faithful to uphold us as His children.
The Family Table
60 years ago, the unwritten rules of society were a little different. You could be busy all day or hard at work, but come dinner time you knew exactly where your place was, with the family. Before the TV stole the conversation, we would notice if someone was silent or not acting like themselves in the special time at the table. It was a time for engaging in each others lives and sharing your own. In many ways, the dinner table represented what it meant to be part of the family.
Guest Speaker Randy Young joins us this Fathers Day with a special message as we wrap up our Family Matters series.
